My interests in jazz are:

All variations, modalities and aspects of the art form as a listener, viewer, documentarian. In my principle role as photojournalist and as an occasional writer I endeavor to continue be a productive and recognized contributor to the world of jazz on the highest level possible.

I've been the principle freelance photojournalist and on occasion a reviewer/writer for the Queens Times Ledger/Bayside Times News Group,including some of the major U.S. Jazz Journalism periodicals documenting jazz performance and related music genres with a major emphasis within the jazz community in all of the major Queens venues for more than 30 years. I started with the TimesLedger News Group doing a six-month internship as one of the evening Photo Editors. I continue to maintain a constant focus on the Jazz scene in Queens NY, The Big Apple and the surrounding greater Long Island communities. This endeavor includes contributing to local mass media and leading national and international print and digital jazz and music publications.
