** Producer & member of NYC's annual free 9/11 remembrance concert -- The September Concert: The Heart of Jazz for 9/11, which ran for 10 years. Beginning in 2005, between 30 - 50 of NYC's top artists would gather each year on 9/11 to "play that day through our horn," in an attempt to make some sense of that day as artists, and to create a gift to our fellow NYers. More than 160 of NYC's finest players & singers appeared in this event during its life, most participating in multiple years. 2014 marked this concert's final year.
