My interests in jazz are:
I've had an interest in early jazz since childhood. In 2005, I began to produce a radio program, RADIOLA!, which features pre-1940 popular music with an emphasis on early jazz and dance band recordings. In 2015, I joined the staff of The American Rag as a writer and bought the publication in December 2015, relaunching it as The Syncopated Times in February 2016.
More about what I do:
I am publisher and editor of The Syncopated Times. The Syncopated Times explores the world of hot jazz, ragtime, and swing with emphasis on jazz age popular music. Coverage includes jazz festivals, musician profiles, and news of particular interest to the traditional jazz community and related music communities.
