Straightahead jazz, Latin jazz, jazz history, San Francisco Bay Area artists and history, record collecting, writing ,and radio archiving.

More about what I do:

I am currently Program and Music Director at KCSM FM 91, the San Francisco Bay Area's jazz station. I host the Sunday Latin jazz show (2-6pm) and Mon.Tues.Weds. Jazz in the Afternoon (2-6pm). I have written for the SF Chronicle, Jazz Times, Latin Beat, El Tecolote SF,and others as well as having written dozens of liner notes.
