Since 1994, I have been one of the broadcastors for the summertime Paul Brown Monday Night Jazz Series in Hartford, CT's Bushnell Park. The series, which will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2027, has been recognized by The Library of Congress as the longest continuously-operating free outdoor jazz series in the U.S.

I have been an active participant in various jazz journalistic pursuits for nearly 50 years. The music has been an integral part of my life since my teenage years; it continues to provide me with joy and spiritual sustenance on a daily basis!
