More about what I do:
I am a jazz drummer working in Ohio and Michigan. I play regularly with guitarist Bob Niederriter's trio which features such Columbus organ greats as Tony Monaco and Jon Eshelman. I also work around the Cleveland/Akron area with the group Jazz Shepherds. In addition, my own organ group, The Chris Hovan Organic Trio, has appeared at The Bop Stop, BLU Jazz, The Treelawn, GRNoir and Cliff Bells. My Generations Quartet, featuring Cleveland trumpeter Mark Russo, has performed at the Bop Stop, BLU Jazz and Con Alma.
