All of it, from traditional to avant garde. I have a special focus on jazz piano, guitar, and singers.

More about what I do:

I lecture frequently about jazz and Brazilian music on major cruise lines including Cunard and Crystal Cruises, and before arts groups and college audiences. My English lyrics for the Brazilian singer-songwriter Delia Fischer can be heard on her 2024 album "Beyond Bossa" on Origin Records. I also write liner notes, press releases, and biographical material for jazz artists and record labels. Clients have included Mack Avenue Records, High Note/Savant, Ron Carter, Houston Person, Joey Alexander, Billy Childs, Alan Broadbent, Leslie Pintchik, John Bailey.
