My interests in jazz are:
I am an elementary school teacher, k7 to K11, teaching arts, too, for a long time. Having long summer holidays I undertook trips to some of european jazz festivals ie. NSJ, Umbria Jazz, San Sebastian, Leibnitz, Saalfelden... Coming from Belgrade, Serbia, I had a joyful experience in witnessing most of today very creative jazz artists.I felt that I could contribute by presenting their creativity and expressing a visual impression. As for a university expertise I am a scientist in language teaching methodology and I do have title of mag. that would be compatible with austrian one. I have done a thesis on problem solving strategies that are based on cognitive psychology researches. In my opinion jazz is the most obvious presentation of creativity act in scientific use of that term and that is the argument I would like to study on. As an amateur I have made some photographs and I do feel a strong impuls to express myself this way. I have not published photographs yet, although I have released some books in my primal field of work. Once again as a teacher I do believe in formal education and that is why I would like to study.
